Our History
Mark Halpin began his insurance career in 1988 and established MJH Insurance in 1997. In 2006, MJH Insurance acquired the agency formerly known as The Lehman Agency. The Lehman Agency was originally founded in Gardner, KS, in 1963 to serve Gardner and surrounding communities.

The Family Connection
The name MJH is simply the initials of Mark “Joseph” Halpin. Shortly after becoming the new owner of the business, Mark’s wife, Kim, came on board to co-run the agency and serve the members of the Gardner, KS, community and their insurance needs. It became a true family business in 2014 when their son, Sean, joined the team as a young producer.
