Mark started in the insurance industry in 1988 selling personal lines for a direct writer carrier.  As his client’s needs evolved he understood the importance of providing options for them.  After several years and many different trials, he settled on this agency here in Gardner, Kansas.  Mark is the proud father of 3, and grandfather to 3 and counting.

John O'Grady

John O'Grady

John comes to MJH Insurance by way of Topeka, Kansas. His Previous work as a police officer followed by a franchise rights salesmen to small businesses taught him the value of hard work and the importance of building relationships founded on trust. You can expect a few things from a guy like John O’Grady; honesty, respect, fairness and a good story.  There’s a belief in Ireland that those who kiss the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle are blessed with the gift of gab, and we feel that John may have gone back for seconds.

Kim Halpin

Kim Halpin

Kim joined her husband in the business in 2006 after purchasing this long-standing insurance agency here in Gardner, Kansas.  Kim comes from a background teaching, and work in various businesses.  When you stop in the office, Kim will probably greet you with pictures of her grandbabies. When not in the office, she is probably off visiting her grandkids.

Ali Scott

Ali Scott

Ali grew up in Gardner Kansas before heading off to Kansas State for college.  She has a unique background, having graduated with a design degree before entering the banking world upon graduation.  Her unique blend of creativity, banking knowledge, natural people skills and fun/energetic personality makes for a perfect fit in the small family run business that is MJH Insurance. We’re honored to have Ali on the team!

Sean Halpin

Sean Halpin

Sean is the son of Mark and Kim, and started in the business in July of 2014.  He was always eager to join in the family business and did so after working in the logistics industry.  Sean is responsible for helping bring the business up to date and better fit the needs of the newer and younger demographic of insurance consumer.
