What is an antique auto or classic car?
An antique auto is a private passenger auto that is at least 25 years old, and is predominantly used for exhibitions, or other shows, with little use elsewhere.
A classic auto is a private passenger motor vehicle that is ten or more years old and may be used on a more regular basis. The value of a classic car is much higher than the average value of other vars. (meaning, my ’99 Toyota Camry probably can’t be classified as a classic car). Liability, medical payments, and uninsured motorist’s coverage are all the same as if they were on a private passenger auto. The physical damage coverage is on a stated amount basis.
“I called Kim after the premiums on our homeowners and motorcycle policies increased. She promptly did some research and was able to reduce the homeowners $125 and the motorcycle 50%! Thanks Kim! Dan & Erika H.”
