What is motorcycle insurance?
There are various types of motorcycles, mopeds, motor scooters, motorbikes, go-carts, and similar vehicles, which can be added to a personal auto policy.
There is also the self-standing personal motorcycle policy which insures vehicles defined as: a saddle or seat for the rider that‘s designed to travel on not more than three wheels and equipped to operate on public roads. A sidecar attached to the motorcycle is considered part of the motorcycle. The personal motorcycle policy may cover things like liability to others, medical payments, physical damage coverage, uninsured motorist. custom equipment, rider safety apparel (equipment designed to minimize injury), and other applicable endorsements.
The miscellaneous type vehicle endorsement to a PAP may be used to insure motorcycles, mopeds, motor scooters, motorbikes go-carts, and similar vehicles that are not used for business purposes.
